Shkodra, known as the “capital of north Albania,” is one of the oldest cities in the country, and also one of the richest in cultural heritage; the city itself as well as its people bear the pride that the large number of artists, musicians, painters, photographers, poets, and writers born here strove to create. During the city tour we will visit Rozafa Castle, the Marubi Atelier Photography and Venice Art mask factory. The city center and its pedestrian area has an Italian influence. Venice Art mask factory is one of Shkodra’s most interesting success stories. The workshop is also known for providing the masks for Stanley Kubrick’s film Eyes Wide Shut.
