Risk Management Policy
An assessment of excursion risks will be undertaken and described to guests. Tour leaders should be notified beforehand (and as early as possible) if any participants have any past or current medical issues, and shall then be deemed either safe or unsafe to participate in the tour.
In the case of one or more guests needing first aid attention, tour leaders will be able to promptly assist in whatever way possible. Leaders will be trained on handling possible health risks or injuries while on tour, and will be able to locate health centers nearby, if necessary.
In very rare cases, an excursion may need to be canceled at short notice on days of extreme fire danger or total fire ban (and a full refund will be given). If an excursion is not cancelled on high alert days, special fire safety precautions will be required.
